Auxiliary pump high-pressure hose 332/H4213, 1/2" BSP x 1700 mm is a genuine JCB part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders.

A hydraulic hose carries pressurised oil between moving parts; it consists of an inner rubber tube, steel braid or spiral reinforcement and an outer cover, with fittings crimped on the ends. The hose length, diameter, end fittings and pressure class are set by the machine: a short hose is stretched, a long one rubs and wears. The hose is therefore chosen by part number and compared with the old one. Replace at once a hose whose cover is cracked, blistered, crushed or showing its steel reinforcement, since a hose bursting under pressure is dangerous to the machine and to people nearby. Never feel for a leak by hand, as a fine jet of oil can pierce skin. The hose comes new with its ends capped for transport, and the caps stay on until fitting. The hose is chosen by part number, and its length and end fittings are compared with the old hose.

Fitting
