For the machines with the JCB Dieselmax 444 engine: fuel pipe 320/07052, a genuine JCB part.
A fuel pipe carries fuel between the filters, lift pump, injection pump and injectors. High-pressure pipes run from the pump to the injectors; they are thick-walled steel pipes that withstand hundreds of bar, while low-pressure pipes form the supply line between the filter and pump. Pipes work under engine vibration and can crack if clamps are missing or loose. Fuel escaping from a high-pressure pipe sprays out as a fine jet, posing a fire and injury hazard. When one high-pressure pipe is changed, it is worth checking the other pipes in the same clamp group for signs of vibration.

Compatibility
According to the product card, 320/07052 is a fuel pipe. The card also lists 320/07041. Fit is confirmed by the part number. The catalogue also has the aftermarket version of this part. Other parts are in Fuel pipes and hoses.
Fitting
Before the change, stop the engine and let the fuel system cool; on common rail systems, wait for the pressure to drop. Undo the fittings while holding them with a backup spanner. Start the new pipe by hand at both ends, then tighten the nuts to the specified torque and fit the clamps. After bleeding, run the engine and check the joints for leaks. On the first run after fitting, check the joints once more after the engine has warmed up.
