Injector clamp 320/02639 is a genuine JCB part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders.
The clamp holds the injector down in its seat in the cylinder head, compressing the copper washer underneath and stopping combustion gases escaping. It is tightened with a single bolt to the specified torque. A bent, cracked or wrong clamp cannot press the injector evenly: the washer is not fully compressed, gases leak, carbon builds up in the injector well and the injector may move in its seat. The clamp is chosen by part number for the engine type and injector version.
