Breaker through bolt 400/M2200 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. According to the product card, this part is a breaker through bolt.

On machines, bolts work under constant vibration, shock and changing loads. Spring washers, locking nuts or liquid thread-locker are used to stop them working loose. A removed bolt is inspected before refitting: a bolt with a crushed thread, a necked shank or corrosion is discarded. In critical joints such as axles, chassis and attachment mountings, removed bolts are usually replaced with new ones.

Fitting

Before fitting the bolt, clean the threaded hole and remove any old thread-locker. Where required, apply the specified thread-locker or oil to the threads and tighten the bolt with a torque wrench to the specified value. In joints with several bolts, tighten them in a cross pattern and in stages.
