Valve collet 02/100024 is an aftermarket part for the Perkins engine. The card also lists 906-114.

Valve collets sit in the grooves on the valve stem and lock the spring cap to the valve. They come as two halves, one pair per valve. A worn or badly seated collet can let the valve drop onto the piston, which means serious engine damage. The collets are hardened steel. Together with the valve, the collets carry the full valve spring force. A pair of collets fully surrounds the valve stem. Collets are used in pairs. The collets are supplied new.

Fitting
