Hand throttle cable 910/60109 is a genuine JCB part for the Perkins AK and AR engines. The card also lists 910/48800.

The throttle cable carries the movement of the cab throttle control to the fuel pump lever. A stretched or rusted cable makes the throttle stiff, stops it returning to idle or keeps the engine from full revs; a broken cable leaves the machine at idle. When selecting, compare the length and end fittings with the old cable. The cable has separate fixings at the cab end and the pump end. The inner cable is braided steel.
