Air filter housing valve 32/915704 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines.

The dust valve is a rubber valve at the bottom of the air filter housing; with the engine running it releases the separated dust and water and it closes when the engine stops. A torn, hardened or missing valve reduces pre-cleaner efficiency so the main element clogs faster. The valve is rubber, and its lips open and close with the intake pulses to eject dust. Without the valve the housing dust outlet stays open and the pre-cleaner works poorly. The valve pushes onto the dust outlet at the bottom of the housing. The valve is a wear part. Leave the old valve in place until the new one is ready to fit.
