Spacer 331/47063 JCB, genuine

A spacer sets a precise distance and alignment between two parts, and the joint depends on this dimension to work properly. A damaged, cracked or worn spacer lets the parts move off-axis, causes vibration and overloads the fasteners. Its length and fixing pattern are set by the application, so it is chosen by part number. Fitting

Clean the mating faces, fit the spacer the right way round and tighten the bolts in a cross pattern to the specified torque. Fit the bolts with thread locker where required.
