Radiator cap 30/926736 is a genuine JCB part for the JCB machines.

The radiator cap closes the cooling system, and its pressure valve holds the system at a set pressure that raises the coolant boiling point. A hardened seal or faulty valve causes coolant loss, overheating and overflow from the expansion tank. The cap pressure rating is set for the system. The cap seal and valve spring fatigue over time, so the cap is checked at coolant changes and renewed if needed. A cap with a different pressure rating changes the boiling point and can damage the radiator. The cap is made of metal.
