Hose clamp 2201/0012 JCB, aftermarket

Hose clamp 2201/0012 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines.

A hose clamp presses the hose onto its spigot, keeps the joint sealed and stops the hose working off with vibration. A rusted, loose or wrongly sized clamp causes coolant loss, unfiltered air in the intake and fuel line leaks. The clamp range must suit the hose outside diameter: one that is too large cannot be tightened fully and one that is too small will not fit. A stainless steel band resists corrosion for longer. The clamp is supplied new, ready to fit. Its size is defined by the part number.

Fitting

Place the clamp a few millimetres in from the hose end, behind the spigot bead, and tighten it without cutting into the hose. Check the cooling hose clamps once more with the engine warm.
