Oil cooler radiator 332/G3688 JCB 3CX/4CX, aftermarket

For the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders: oil cooler radiator 332/G3688, an aftermarket part. This is an oil cooler radiator.

The radiator is chosen by part number for the machine model, engine version (for example Tier 3) and position in the cooling pack, as its ports and mountings must match. When a coolant radiator is replaced, the system is flushed and the coolant renewed; when an oil cooler is replaced, the oil and filter are renewed. After an air-conditioning condenser is changed, the system must be evacuated and recharged. The fins are cleaned with compressed air or low-pressure water from the inside outwards. Daily cleaning of the radiator fins is the most effective way to prevent overheating, especially when working in dust.

Fitting

Before the change, drain the relevant fluid (air-conditioning refrigerant is recovered at a qualified service). Remove the hoses and fan shroud, release the radiator from its mountings and lift it out carefully, holding it by the edges as the fins crush easily. Fit the new radiator on its anti-vibration mounts and connect the hoses with new clamps. After filling and bleeding the system, run the machine and check for leaks and working temperature.
