Hydraulic pump suction hose 834/10756 is a genuine JCB part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. According to the product card, this hose runs from the hydraulic tank to the pump.

A hydraulic tank hose is a moulded rubber hose used between the tank and the pump or in the tank return lines. Its shape is set in the mould so that it passes other parts of the machine without touching them, which is why the hose is chosen by part number. A crack or a loose clamp on a suction hose lets the pump draw in air: the pump gets noisy, the oil foams and cavitation soon wears the pump. Replace a hose that shows cracks, hardening or swelling. Renew the clamps at the same time and push the hose ends fully onto their spigots. The aftermarket hose is made to the shape and diameters of the original. The hose is chosen by part number and compared with the old one for shape, diameters and branches. It is made of rubber that resists hydraulic oil and heat. On older machines especially, the tank hoses are among the first places to look for an oil leak.

JCB 3CX and 4CX cooling system: radiator, fan, expansion tank, drawings and part numbers

On JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders with the JCB Dieselmax engine the cooling system consists of a cooler pack (engine radiator plus the hydraulic and transmission oil cooler), a fan with a viscous coupling (or a direct drive fan), an expansion tank and the hoses. System capacity is 18.5 litres.
