Washer 132165 is an aftermarket part for the backhoe loaders with Carraro axles.

This washer sets a gap between parts in an axle or transmission, spreads a load or takes the side thrust of a gear or bearing, and it may work as a thrust, spacer, spring (split) or lock washer. A worn or crushed washer increases end float, lets gears shift sideways and allows joints to loosen. A washer is a part where dimensional accuracy matters: even a few tenths of a millimetre change the setting.

Fitting

On assembly, clean and oil the washer and locate any tab or pin in its seat. After assembly, measure the end float to the service manual. When fitting, check the washer for burrs, dents and scoring, since a damaged face also wears the side of the gear or bearing. If a thrust washer has oil grooves, fit it with the grooves facing the gear. Washers in the same assembly can differ in thickness, so note their positions and order when dismantling.
