Transmission speed sensor 339307 is an OEM part for the backhoe loaders with Carraro axles.

The transmission speed sensor reads the rotation of a gear or shaft inside the gearbox and sends a speed signal to the electronic control unit. The signal is used to time gear changes, control a powershift transmission and show speed on the instrument panel. A faulty sensor causes erratic shifts, puts the transmission into limp mode or stops the speedometer working.

Compatibility

According to sources, 339307 (new number 560669) is the Carraro transmission speed sensor; it matches Terex 6194951M91, CNH 87705451, Hidromek AA.02.0096 and Volvo 17200453 and is used on Case 570-695 and New Holland B110 and B115 backhoe loaders. Fitting

Disconnect the battery negative before the change. Clean the sensor seat, fit a new lubricated O-ring and tighten the sensor to the specified torque. After connecting the plug, drive the machine to check the gear changes and speed reading, and clear any fault codes. Secure the sensor lead so it cannot touch moving parts or hot surfaces.
