Gasket 149283 is an aftermarket part for the backhoe loaders with Carraro axles.

A gasket seals the joint between two faces of a transmission or axle housing and fits under covers, pumps or valve bodies. A compressed gasket loses its resilience once used, so an old gasket is not reused after dismantling. A damaged gasket causes oil leaks and loss of pressure in pressurised circuits.

Fitting

Before assembly, clean the faces of old gasket material and oil and remove any burrs. Lay the gasket with its holes aligned and tighten the bolts to the specified torque in a cross pattern, without extra sealant unless the maker specifies it.
