Inner door handle, left 826/11627 is an aftermarket part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. This is the left door's inner handle; the card also lists 826/11105 and 332/A9108.

The handle is used to release the cab door lock from inside or to open and close the opening window. The inner door handle is linked to the lock by a cable or rod, and it must work properly so the operator can leave the cab quickly in an emergency. A window handle holds the glass open and presses it against the seal when closed. A broken plastic or cast handle is not repaired but replaced. The handle mechanism is cleaned and lubricated regularly, as a sticking handle can break if forced. The link between the handle and lock is adjusted so that full handle travel releases the lock, otherwise the door may not open from inside. This is an important safety point for emergency exit and is tested at every service. If the handle's return spring weakens, the handle does not spring back and the lock may stay open.

Fitting
