Glovebox lid bracket 331/33655 is an aftermarket part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. This is the glovebox lid bracket.

This bracket attaches a part inside or outside the cab (gas strut, mirror, glovebox lid, vent window or air-conditioning condenser) to the body and holds it in the right position. The bracket carries the full weight and vibration of the part, so a cracked, bent or broken-away bracket makes the part shake, fall off or stop working. For example, if a strut bracket breaks the door cannot be held open, and a bent mirror bracket spoils the view. Brackets are usually made of sheet steel or section and painted against corrosion. Also check the area of the cab the bracket mounts to, and repair any crack first. The bracket bolts are fitted with lock washers so they do not work loose with vibration.

Fitting

Remove the part from the old bracket, undo the bracket bolts and clean the mounting area. Fit the new bracket in the same place, tighten the bolts to the specified torque and refit the part.
