Door strut bracket, right 333/E0455 JCB 3CX/4CX, genuine

For the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders: door strut bracket, right 333/E0455, a genuine JCB part. This is the right door strut bracket; the card also lists 331/25517.

The bracket is chosen by part number for its position (left or right, upper or lower), the part it carries and the machine version, and left and right brackets are often mirror images. The second number on the card is an earlier version of the same bracket. When changing it, check the bolts, washers and threaded holes in the cab, and touch up any damaged paint against rust. Also check the area of the cab the bracket mounts to, and repair any crack first. The bracket bolts are fitted with lock washers so they do not work loose with vibration.

Fitting

Remove the part from the old bracket, undo the bracket bolts and clean the mounting area. Fit the new bracket in the same place, tighten the bolts to the specified torque and refit the part. After assembly, check that the part does not shake and works fully, opening and closing the door or lid a few times.
