Clam cylinder bushing 1207/0019 JCB, 40x45x90 mm, aftermarket

Clam cylinder bushing 1207/0019 is an aftermarket bushing for the 4-in-1 bucket clam cylinder on JCB 3CX, 4CX, 5CX backhoe loaders: bore 40 mm, outside diameter 45 mm, length 90 mm.

Bushings take shock loads during digging and loading and need regular greasing. If the grease channel blocks or sand gets into the joint, the bushing ovalises quickly, and as play grows the pin and lug are damaged too. So a worn bushing is checked together with its pin, and both are replaced when needed.

Compatibility and selection

Select the bushing by part number 1207/0019; the dimensions are in the table. Measuring the bore and outside diameter of the old bushing makes selection easier. Other bushings are in JCB CX series bushings.

Fitting

Remove the old bushing with a puller or careful heating, then clean and measure the bore. Press the new bushing in square to its axis; if it has a grease hole, line it up with the channel in the lug. Then fit the pin and grease the joint; a worn pin can be chosen from the JCB CX pins.
