Stabiliser cable 910/60129 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. According to the product card, this part is a stabiliser cable.

The stabiliser control cable connects the lever in the cab to the stabiliser valve block and lets the legs be lowered and raised. The cable slides in a sleeve; when water and dirt get in, it rusts and sticks, the lever becomes stiff or does not return to neutral. Since this can make the legs move unintentionally, the cable is replaced at once.

Fitting

Before working on a stabiliser, park the machine on level ground, lower the legs to touch the ground, release the pressure and make the machine safe. After fitting the part, extend and retract the legs fully a few times, check the clearance and friction, and grease the slides and pins.
