Right rear mudguard 401/C4742 JCB, genuine

Right rear mudguard 401/C4742 is a genuine JCB part for the JCB machines. According to the product card, this part is a right rear mudguard.

The brackets and bolts of the front mudguards gradually loosen or crack under axle oscillation and vibration. When a mudguard is replaced the brackets are checked too, as a cracked bracket will soon break the new mudguard. The mudguard must not touch the tyre at full lock or full axle oscillation, so after fitting the steering is turned fully both ways and the clearance checked. The mudguard bolts are checked at every service and loose ones are tightened. After a new mudguard is fitted, the machine is given a short test drive to check that it does not vibrate.

Fitting
