Left rear mudguard 401/C4755 JCB, aftermarket

For the JCB machines: left rear mudguard 401/C4755, an aftermarket part. According to the product card, this part is a left rear mudguard.

Mudguards are chosen by part number according to machine model, side (left or right) and position; mudguards for the 3CX, 4CX and telehandlers are different. Mudguards of different shape and fixing may have been used on one model in different years, so the number of the old part and the position of the brackets are compared. Plastic mudguards are flexible and bend without cracking under light knocks, while metal ones are protected by paint. Mud that builds up inside the mudguard is cleaned off regularly, as the extra weight strains the brackets and in winter frozen mud can rub on the tyre. A damaged mudguard can rub on the tyre as the wheel turns and wear it too.
