Belt 2002 mm 320/08608 JCB 444, genuine

Belt 2002 mm 320/08608 is a genuine JCB part for the machines with the JCB Dieselmax 444 engine. According to the product card, this part is a belt, size 2002 mm.

The drive belt carries power from the crankshaft pulley to the alternator, water pump, fan and air conditioning compressor. Machines mostly use multi-rib (poly-V, for example 8PK) or V-belts. Over time a belt stretches, hardens and cracks across its ribs; a loose or worn belt slips and squeals, the alternator stops charging, the engine overheats or the air conditioning stops working. A broken belt stops the water pump and fan and can overheat the engine quickly. The belt must be kept away from oil and fuel, as oil softens the rubber and causes slipping.
