Telescopic wear pads 11885340 Volvo, aftermarket

Telescopic wear pads 11885340 is an aftermarket part for the Volvo machines. According to the product card, this part is a telescopic wear pads.

The pads and the rubbing surfaces of the inner section are kept clean and greased as the maker recommends, as sand and stone dust wear pads quickly. Knocking, jerky movement or visible play between sections show that the pads need checking. Pads at their wear limit are replaced before the metal surfaces are damaged. After new pads are fitted, the leg is fully extended and retracted a few times to check that it does not bind. The pads are inspected on the surfaces visible when the leg is fully extended, looking for cracks, uneven wear and missing fixings. The pad bolts are tightened to the specified torque and rechecked after the first hours of work.
