F5 breaker lower bush 100 mm DF05B-0070 is an aftermarket part for the Delta hydraulic breakers. According to the product card, this part is a breaker lower bush for the F5 breaker.

The upper and lower bushes in the front head centre the tool and let it slide evenly along its axis during impact. As the clearance between bush and tool grows, the tool strikes at an angle, the piston hits it off-square and the breaker's life is shortened. Dust seals and retaining bushes keep dirt out of the front head and stop the bushes turning. Bush wear speeds up with poor greasing and when the tool is used as a lever.

Fitting

Before working on the breaker, stop the machine, release the hydraulic pressure and lower the breaker to the ground in a stable position. After fitting the part, tighten the bolts to the specified torque, grease the tool bush and test the breaker briefly under light load.
